The Guardian gathered that the victims were abducted by the hoodlums at about 10:00p.m.on Easter Monday.
A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the victims were abducted on their way back from the traditional marriage ceremony of a cousin to the Anambra State Commissioner for Special Duties, Barr Sly Ezeokenwa.
The source said that no contact has been established with them or the kidnappers.
Spokesperson for the state Police Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Toochukwu Ikenganyia, who confirmed the incident, said the police has launched an operation to rescue the abductees.
