POLICE NABS LEADER OF NOTORIOUS, DREADED YOUTHS TERRORISING LAGOS ISLAND FOR STABBING PEOPLE WITH KNIFE.

A leader of the notorious youth group known as ‘O STRONG’, Tolani Yusuf allegedly terrorizing Lagos Island has been apprehended by the Police operatives from the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID)/, Panti for stabbing a man in the  abdomen.

Tolani, the suspect who was gathered to have robbed and killed many people, along with his gang was alleged to have stabbed one Tajudeen Sodiq on the stomach, where his intestine was cut and the rice he  ate pouring out.

It was also gathered that the notorious Tolani who realized what happened started boasting that it’s only 3months he will spend in Police custody before he will be bailed out because the politicians he work for will come to his rescue to be use as political thug.

When some youths around tried to overpower him, forcing the knife out of his hand, he started biting them and escaped.

Tajudeen, the victim was immediately taken to the Lagos General hospital, Odan where four surgical operations was carried out on him to save his life by surgeons

Eye witness narrated that Tolani and his gang have been terrorizing the Island for over 10years and whenever he was arrested by the Police, he was always released by some politicians he worked for.

Sources revealed, “He and his gang members have committed lots of atrocities, like killing and robbing people, especially traders and visitors who refused to part with their personal belongings on the Island. Anybody who dare challenge him risked been attacked by his gang members in the midnight”.

According to the eye witness, “The latest incident started three weeks ago, precisely on Wednesday evening, when Tolani fought one middle aged man named ‘Baba nla’.

“He now came to Aroloya area with annoyance and started attacking passersby. When he saw Taju ( the victim in the hospital), he told Tajudeen that he has been looking for a way to retaliate the arrest of his senior sister arrested last year by the Police through the victim’s senior sister”.

“He left that night and came back on Thursday morning and started pouring hot  beans on people around from the pot of a woman selling food at Aroloya junction. When Taju challenged him, he brought out the knife and stabbed him on the stomach to avenge his senior sister arrested by the Police last year.

When he saw that Taju’s  intestine came out and the rice he ate that morning was coming out, he then took to his heels but was stopped by some youths who forcefully knocked out the knife from his hand. He started biting them and later escaped.

He later came back to the scene of the incident with English pistol, threatening to shoot anybody who dare challenge him.

The CDA in the area reported the matter to the Police at Adeniji Adele  and they  laid  siege for him and he was eventually arrested.

He was later transferred to SCID, Panti where he confessed all his past crime committed.

Meanwhile, four CDAs in the area went to the Police to confirm all his past atrocities and hinted on the list of members of the gang.

A Police source revealed to our correspondent that they’ve received over 20 petitions against the suspect, adding that he may be taken to court this week after the final compilation of the case file.
