Lesbianism: Police Declares manhunt For one Wilson Osarugue Cassandra

The Lagos State Police Command  have declared a-23-year old girl, one Wilson Osarugue Cassandra, wanted over her alleged involvement in lesbianism, an act proscribed by the Nigerian legislation.
A source who spoke with our Crime Correspondent,. disclosed that Cassandra, was caught in the alleged homosexual act with her  female partner, Joan Omolabi, in 2020 while making an illicit love.
The female lovers were said to have been deeply engrossed in the amorous act of lesbianism practice when an ageing neighbor, Mrs. Stella Rotimi  stumbled on them .
The bewildered Omokaro according to our source drew the attention of the youths around to the abominable and sacrilegious act.
The youths it was learnt subsequently apprehended Cassandra and Omolabi, a sickle cell patient and handled the culprits to the police after given them the beaten of their lives.
According to our source, there was a twist of event as Cassandra through the help of a female police officer, one Inspector Bisola, managed to escape from police custody, while Cassandra’s love partner, Omolabi who was bleeding severely though her nose was taken to the hospital for treatment by the police.
Contacted, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bala Elkana, who confirmed the report said that the police have intensified efforts towards re-apprehending the fleeing Wilson Osarugue Cassandra.
He disclosed that while Cassandra’s lesbian partner Omolabi has been charged to court for homosexuality, the police officer who aided Cassandra’s escape, Bisola, after dismissal from the police has been sentenced to prison
DSP Elkana, revealed further that the police have been mandated to bring Cassandra to Justice in order to serve as deterrent for others young men and women who may want to indulge in the act considered alien, forbidden and threat to the survival of Morales amongst the people.
The police image maker further stated that the dismissed Police Officer confessed she took Cassandra to one Mr Johnson who aided her out of the country and the said Johnson is also on the Police wanted list.
“There is urgent need of communities and government synergy in order to quickly curb one of the newest vices (homosexuality) that is making in-road into our culture”, she remarked.
He, however, called on members of the public who may have useful information that would lead to the re-arrest of fleeing lesbian suspect to approach any security formation in the country, assuring that such information would be treated in strict confidentiality
