ADC sacks Rivers chairman over alleged Anti-party Activities

The African Democratic congress, ADC, has sacked its chairman in Rivers state, solebari Sampson, over the alleged Anti-party Activities.

The state working committee, SEC of the party took the decision following resolution of the national working committee,NWC, on the earlier suspension of sampon as state chairman of ADC.

The resolution was signed by Egbagiri Ode Lawrence (Deputy state chairman), Eugene Eke (secretary), Hamza Victor Chukure (Legal Adviser), Irene Kaladappa jumbo (woman leader) , Ogbuga sherry (welfare officer), Emmanuel Deinma (youth leader),Richard uranta (INEC Liaison officer) and chief lucky man Egila (publicity secretary).

Reading the decision of the SEC port Harcourt, yesterday, Eugene Eke, who is the secretary of the party, said the removal of the state chairman followed his failure to serictly adhere to the directives of the party’s NEC. It could be recalled that following the resolution of the ADC’S NEC on the report and recommendation of its Investigation Committee set up to investigate the suspension of sampon as state chairman of ADC, Rivers state, he (sampon) was directed to call a press conference in the state within seven days using some specified media platforms amongst other conditions.

It was also noted that failure of which he (sampon) shall be removed from office as the river state chairman of ADC.
