ENDSARS PROTESTS: PROTESTERS SET ABLAZE NPA HDQTS, LAGOS CITY HALL, LAGOS MAGISTRATE COURT, OBA OF LAGOS PALACE AND OTHERS.

The ongoing EndSARS protests escalated in Lagos as protesters set on fire many notable areas in Lagos Island to show their grievances against the killings of people by soldiers at Lekki toll gate.
The protesters who were joined by hoodlums were seen carrying dangerous weapons like Dane guns, cutlasses, empty bottles, stones and jerry cans fully loaded with petroleum products in the early hours of Wednesday and took over the main roads on the Island.
Eye witness accounted that the protesters first went to the NPA headquarters at Marina, chased out the staff on duty and set ablaze the building.
“They later went to the Lagos City Hall at Catholic mission Street, poured petrol around the building and set ablaze. From there, some of them moved to the Lagos Magistrate Court at Igboshere, poured petrol there too and set it ablaze”, he revealed.
Another source narrated that some hoodlums attacked the Ebute-Ero Police station but met resistance from the officers and men there who used live ammunition to dispersed the crowd.
“Though, the Police at the station started firing bullets on the crowd to disperse them but they were attacking back with stones, broken louvers on the Police”.
“It was the frustration that led them to attack the Oba of Lagos palace at Iga Iduganran where they started throwing bottles loaded with petrol inside and later light it up, which made the palace to go on flame.
The hoodlums also blocked the Adeniji Adele roads to disallowed security men from the station to come to rescue the palace.
As at the time of filling this report, everywhere on the Island was in disarray as people run  to pick their children and wards.
Stern looking mobile Policemen, armed to teeth were seen at the premises of the Central Bank (CBN), Tinubu and environs to protect all the buildings in the area.
Meanwhile, residents have started  lambasting the State Governor for claiming in his broadcast that only one person died after the massacre by the Army on the protesters at the Lekki toll gate.
They also did same on the National leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, accusing him of looting Lagos resources along with his associates.
