The Nigeria Immigration Service has entered into a partnership with Manzuwa Ventures Limited to provide affordable accommodation for officers and men.
This is part of effort by the Muhammad Babandede led administration welfare packages for Officers and men of the service.
The national public relations officer of NIS, Sunday James, a Deputy Comptroller, in A release, said the project was flagged-off at A ceremony at the NIS Headquarters, Abuja.
Speaking at the occasion, the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede advised the company to look into making the project affordable and delivered at target time so that contributors will benefit while still in active service.
Represented by the Assistant Comptroller General Human Resources Management Isiaka Haliru, the CGI also enjoined the company to be flexible to accommodate as many who are genuinely interested in securing accomodation through the company.
The Housing Scheme is located at Kyami, along Airport Road, Abuja.
While shedding light on the project, Sunday James explained that percentage to be contributed by the beneficiaries is income based.
He added that beneficiaries are not expected to have pending loan to settle, flexible legal bonds as specified in the agreement, not mandatory.
