A graduate of Mass Communication, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi- Uku, Oboh and one other were reportedly shot dead at Umuagu quarters, Asaba, Delta Nigeria during a series of cult clash in the area.The young man was killed in a reprisal attack in the late hours at a bar near UBA Bank, Asaba, the State Capital.It was learnt that Oboh” came to watch football in the bar and he was drinking around 10:00pm When a three – man gang came in immediately and told everyone to be calm that they came for him alone”It was further gathered that ” They shot him four times and dragged him outside the bar”.The other suspected cultist, in what has been called a reprisal attack, was attacked in the neighboring Isierke quaters in the early hours of yesterday.The Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya who confirmed the incident said the killings were as a result of attacks from two rival gangs.
Onovwakpoyeya said the Police have waded into the matter “as investigation has began since it was reported to us”.
