The Nigerian Army has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Super Green Security LTD, Defense Industries Corporation of Nigeria and the Command Engineering Depot on production of military hardware’s and equipment and other defense related equipment.

The representative of the Chief of Army Staff – Chief of Policy and Plans Army, Lt Gen LO Adeosun, representatives of Super Green Security Nigeria Ltd and that of Command Engineering Depot, Major Generals AB Abubakar (rtd) and SS Araoye as well as the Director General Defense Industries Corporation of Nigeria, Major General Victor Ezugwu while signing the agreements commended the leadership of the Nigerian Army for making the Army to gradually be self sustaining in the production and acquisition of Military hardware’s and equipment as well as the historic signing of the current agreement.
These commendable efforts by the Nigerian Army under Lt Gen TY Buratai have saved the nation huge amount of foreign exchange that could have been used in the Procurement/purchase of these products and equipment which are usually not readily available in the open market.
