Road Accident Claims Life of Retired Police Superintendent In Benin.

A road accident that occurred on Sunday morning along Upper Mission Extension Road in Benin City,  has claimed the life of Mrs. Katherine Itohan Odemwingie. She died at the age of 57.years
 This was contained in a statement issued by the deceased’s eldest son Mr Arnold Osamuyimen Odemwingie, on behalf of the family.
The late  Mrs Odemwingie according to the statement attended Okaro Primary School and Urhonigbe Grammer School, both in Urhonigbe, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State.
She also obtained  a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration from the University of Benin.
She was said to have enlisted into the Constable Cadet of the Nigerian Police Force in 1983, where she rose to the rank of a superintendent of Police (SP) until her retirement in 2018.
Mrs Odemwingie was a consummate woman and perfectionist, a team player and an enlivening personality.
Until her death, she was a security coordinator to Church of God Mission International, Benin City.
She is survived by her aged mother, husband, four children and a grand child
May the good Lord grant her soul peaceful repose.
