Our Lives Matter As We Celebrate…Senator Basiru

The Senate Spokesperson for the 9th Assembly, Senator Ajibola Basiru has called on Muslim faithfuls and all Nigerians to be cautious of the fact that life is what matters most when we are celebrating any occasion.

He enjoined celebrants to be cautious of the fact that the ravaging Covid-19 is still much around.

This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by Senator Dr Ajibola Basiru, while felicitating with the Muslim World and particularly his constituents on this year’s Eidel Kabir.

He Reminded the people that the big  Islamic celebration teaches piety, patience and endurance, and also as an avenue for Muslims to learn  lessons and reflect on their daily activities.

“With patience and endurance, whatever we beseech Allah for will be done, and with the two virtues combined with piety, Nigeria will scale hurdles in all spheres of development.”

“As Muslims, we must always remember that Islam emphasizes cleanliness and hygiene, therefore,as we rejoice in this festive season, we should follow strictly all safety regulations to keep the Corona virus at bay.”

The Lawmaker assured his constituents that he would continue to be at their beck and call, and  prayed for success of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at all levels of governance.
